Holmdel, New Jersey – Pauline T. (Gaumont) Berube, 58 yrs., died Monday November 26, 2007 at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in New Jersey.
Born in Lawrence, MA. Pauline T. Gaumont the daughter of Eugene and Jacqueline Gaumont was educated in Lawrence schools at Sacred Heart.
Mrs. Berube was previously employed as a Real Estate Agent before being disabled by Multiple Sclerosis.
While residing in this area Pauline was a former communicant of Sacred Hearts Church of Lawrence MA.
In high school she was more of a sports enthusiast than an academic. She loved basketball and softball and exhibited some unique sports talent. She loved to help people working in nursing homes and as an aid in the field of physical therapy. She loved music played the piano and guitar and enjoyed singing. After marriage she moved to NJ and later became a successful Real Estate Agent and was a member of the million dollar club for a couple of years before being disable by multiple sclerosis. Then she immersed herself in running the household and her family and two grandchildren became her pride and joy.
A longtime Merrimack Valley resident; Pauline is survived by Richard Berube her husband of 36 yrs. Survivors also include a daughter Kristen Berube of Haverhill, MA, son Michael Berube his wife Neila and their twin children Saige and Michael, of Brooklyn, NY. Her parents, Eugene & Jacqueline Gaumont of Salem, NH; sister Renee Dube and husband Ronald of Haverhill, MA, and sister Denise Faucher and husband Michael of Salem, NH a brother Andre Gaumont of Salem, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will take place on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock in Saint Joseph’s Church in Salem, NH, with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence, MA.
Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
