Obituary

Peabody: Rita E. (LeBlanc) Sewards 81 of Peabody, died Sunday, November 25, 2007 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late John J. Sewards.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Dorilda (Deschamps) LeBlanc. A resident of Salem for most of her life, she at one time worked as a waitress for Bertini’s Restaurant and also for the former Dill’s of Marblehead and Landolfi’s of Danvers. Rita was devoted to her family and extended family and she also loved to dance.
She is survived by 4 daughters: Susan L. Sanford & her husband Ronald, Linda A. Ruggiero, Sandra J. Agocs & her husband David, Patricia Rita Robinson & her husband Grant, 2 sons: Shawn M. Sewards & his wife Deborah, Todd S. Sewards & his wife Jocelyn, 2 sisters: Bertha Morin and Doris Boucher, and a brother, Arthur ‘Hawk’ LeBlanc. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Friday, November 30, 2007 at 10 am from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Rt. 114 / 1-A] followed by her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, Salem at 11 am. Visiting hours: Thursday 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
