November 24, 2007, Ronald A. Lavoie, 62 of Goffstown and Manchester died peacefully in his sleep after a long illness.
He was born in Manchester on June 8, 1945 the first son of Albrice and Doris (Blanchette) Lavoie.
He and his family moved to Auburn when he was 7 and he lived there for 50 years.
He was known as the cement man, having worked for Associated Concrete Coatings for many years. He then started his own company, which he eventually sold in 1989. He returned to work for ACC until a work related injury permanently disabled him in 1996.
His family includes his wife of 44 years, Barbara Lavoie, his son Jeff Lavoie, and daughter in law Liz Early, of Ashland, his daughter Rebecca Lavoie, of Manchester, a granddaughter Jessica Lavoie, of Boston, a grandson Patrick Chartier of Dunbarton, 2 brothers Paul Lavoie, of Gulfport FL., and Randy Lavoie, of Manchester, 2 uncles, 2 aunts, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Services: A Memorial reception to celebrate his life will take place on Sunday December 2, 2007 at 11 am in J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
