BELLINGHAM - Ronald J. Lussier, 67, of Bellingham, and a former resident of Ludlow, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, where he had been a patient for one week.
He was the husband of Martha L. (Rieker) Lussier, who died in 1996.
Born in Springfield, he was a son of the late Ernest and Lillian (Hamel) Lussier, and was raised and educated in Springfield.
Until his retirement in 2001, he had worked for the U.S. Postal Service in the Springfield area for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Postal Workers Union and a former member of the Chicopee Lodge of Elks.
He leaves three sons, Christopher J. Lussier of Ludlow, Colin P. Lussier of Belchertown, and Timothy F. Lussier of Bellingham, with whom he lived; a daughter, Linda J. Lussier of Ludlow; two brothers, Ernest Lussier Jr. of New York, and Francis Lussier of Sturbridge; a sister, Lucille Pryzechocki of Agawam; and six grandchildren.
His funeral will take place Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 10:15 a.m., at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., Franklin, with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Blaise Church, 1158 Main St., Rte. 126, Bellingham.
Burial is private.
Calling hours are Monday, Nov. 26, from 4 to 8 p.m.
