New Bedford - Eliseu R. Pimentel, aged 67 years, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at home. He was the father of Linda Pimentel of New Bedford, MA., and Kelly Koska of Acushnet MA. He was the grandfather of Kara Koska. Mr. Pimentel was the brother Jose Alberto Teixeira of St. Michael. He was survived by several nices and newphews.
Mr. Pimentel was the son of the late Joao Teixeira and Almorinda (Branco) Pimentel. He was born in Fazenda de Nordeste, St. Michael, Azores, Portugal and lived in this area for the last 42 years. He was a formerly employed at AFC Cable Co. as a machine operator and prior to that he had been a commercial fisherman.
Mr. Pimentel’s Funeral is from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5 - 8 P.M.
