Obituary

WORCESTER - Edward Belliveau, 90, formerly of Crompton Street died Friday, January 10 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.

His wife, Jeannette (Bourgoin) Belliveau of 61 years died in March of 2001. He leaves three sons J. Paul Belliveau of Holden with whom he lived, David E. Belliveau of Worcester and Ronald M. Belliveau of Putnam, CT; three daughters Jeanine P. Leonard of Stoneybrook Long lsland, Lorraine T. Paquin of Gambrils, Maryland and Anne Marie Peperato of Webster; two brothers Arcade Belliveau of Moncton, New Brunswick and Antoine Belliveau of Toronto; three sisters Rosa LeBlanc of Moncton, Cecilie LeBlanc of St. Antoine, New Brunswick and Alida Caisse of Cassie Cape, New Brunswick; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Belliveau was born in St. Antoine, New Brunswick, Canada son of Frederick and Mary (LeBlanc) Belliveau.

Mr. Belliveau was a truck driver for Johnson Steel and Wire Company for 39 years, retiring in 1976.

He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church.

The funeral will be held on Monday January 13 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Sunday January 12 from 6 to 9 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
