Rita Corinne (Sullivan) Crowley, 85, of Dedham died November 20, 2007. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Crowley Jr.
Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Kennedy) Sullivan. A homemaker, she was a longtime Dedham resident and had lived in Dorchester prior to Dedham.
She was the devoted mother of Jack Crowley and his wife Theresa of Lynnfield, Janet Sweeney and her husband Paul of Norwell and the late Paul Crowley. She was the grandmother of Maureen, Kathleen, John, Scott, Ryan, Paul and Daniel and the great grandmother of Cailin. She was the sister of Marion Marcotte of Chelmsford and the late William Sullivan.
Her funeral will be held from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Saturday at 8:00 AM with a funeral mass in St. Denis Church, Westwood at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Interment will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
