DUDLEY – Blanche A. (Krzywicki) Moriarty, 94, formerly of Joshua Place, died Monday, November 19, in Radius Healthcare at Millbury. Her husband, Dennis Moriarty, died in 1977.
She leaves nieces and nephews, including Evelyn Helpa and Sylvia Bates of Dudley, Virginia Gould of West Boylston; and Paul Moriarty of Norwich, CT; grandnieces and grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucy Krzywicki and Veronica “Vera” Kozlowski and by a nephew, Aloysius Kozlowski.
She was born and raised in Southbridge, a daughter of Bernard and Josephine (Andrzejewski) Krzywicki. She moved to Dudley in 1978.
Mrs. Moriarty was a sales clerk at Southbridge department stores before she retired. She was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church and the Joshua Place Tenants’ Association.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Southbridge. There are no calling hours.
