Sarah S. (Yagman) Pongonis of Marshfield, Nov. 17, 87 years, wife of the late Anthony
Pongonis, dear mother of Loretta McLarey of Hanover, Dorothy Prevoir of Norwood, Joanne Malonson and her husband Jim of Marshfield, Anthony Pongonis and his wife Dianne of Marshfield, Karen Instasi of Duxbury and the late Antoinette Pongonis. Loving grandmother of 8 grandsons. Sister of Mary Yagman of Marshfield and the late Benjamin Yagman. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St, Rte. 139 MARSHFIELD, Tuesday at 9 am followed by a funeral mass in St. Christine's Church at 10 a.m.
Visiting hours Monday 6-8 p.m.
Interment will be in the Forest Hills Cemetery Boston.
Sarah was born in Boston, educated in Boston schools, retired employee of A&P of Roslindale and Cohasset, Marshfield resident for 36 years.
