Peabody: Roseann R. (LeBlanc) Carpenter age 54 of Peabody and formerly of Salem, died, Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the NSMC / Salem Hospital.
Born in Salem and raised in Salem and Middleton, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Rita M. (Blanchard) LeBlanc. A graduate of Masconomet High School, she was employed by the Eastman Gelatin Co. of Peabody for 27 years. Roseann loved knitting and spending time with her grandchildren. She moved to Peabody from Salem in 1996.
She is survived by a son, Steven R. Carpenter of Peabody, a daughter, Meegan A. Carpenter of Amesbury, her devoted friend and companion, Kenneth E. Dragon of Peabody, a brother, James A. LeBlanc of Salem, 4 grandchildren: Amber, Joshua, William & Jaiden. She is also survived by 2 nephews James & Richard and a niece, Andrea.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 10 am from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem, followed by her funeral mass in St. James Church, Salem at 11 am. Visiting hours: Tuesday 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
