Obituary

Bridgewater - Antosie J. (Luzaitis) Dainis, a resident of Bridgewater since 1964, died at home on Oct. 26, 2007.

Born, raised and educated in Cambridge, she was a daughter of the late John and Magdelana Luzaitis."She worked for many years at the Independent Nail Co. in Bridgewater as a packer.

She was a past union secretary for the United Steel Workers. She was a member of the Blue Army.

She enjoyed bowling and knitting.

She was the wife of the late James Dainis; mother of Patricia Dainis of Thompson, Ga., Richard of West Boylston and James of Savannah, Ga.; sister of John and Francis Luzaitis of Boston. Also survived by seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, on Tuesday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, at 9 a.m. Burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
