Obituary

Nora D. (Casali) Greeley, 91, of Londonderry, NH, died Thursday, November 15, 2007 in the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center in Manchester, NH. Mrs. Greeley was born on August 9, 1916, a daughter of the late Peter G. and Judith (Ramelli) Casali, in Somerville, MA where she was raised. She lived for many years in Medford, MA, and moved to Londonderry about five years ago. Mrs. Greeley had owned four taverns; the Fenway and Jack Sharkey’s, both in Boston, MA, and Dot’s and the Morning Glory, both in Charlestown, MA.
She is survived by four sisters, Josephine Gallozzi of Somerville, MA, Rita Dellorfano of Revere, MA, Alma Casali of Londonderry, and Mabel Oakley of N. Hollywood, CA; two nieces, Susan Mariano of Watertown, MA, and Debra Paul of Londonderry; one nephew, Joe Dellorfano of Revere, MA; and many great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Greeley.
A calling hour was held on Tuesday, November 20th from 1:30 – 2:30pm in the Bigelow Chapel at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge, MA, followed by a committal service. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Research, C/O Development Office, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, One Medical Center Dr., Lebanon, NH 03756.
