New Port Richey, Fla. - Janet L. Grenon, of New Port Richey, formerly of Bridgewater, Mass., and Stoughton, Mass., died at Heather Hills Nursing Home in New Port Richey on Oct. 30, 2007. She was 74.
Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Owen and Janet (Lucas) Slater, she was raised in Dorchester.
She was the owner of Bay State Moving & Storage for more than 20 years. She enjoyed bowling and puzzles.
She was the wife of the late Ernest W. Grenon Jr.; mother of Janet Young of New Port Richey, Ernest W. Grenon III of Meredith, N.H., and Stephen J. Grenon of Bridgewater; sister of George Slater of Stoughton and Lila Walter of Rochester, N.Y. Also survived by 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 4-7 p.m.
