Wilma "Grace" Miles Montgomery, 67, of Ty Ty died Friday, November 16, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. James Tyson will officiate with burial to follow in Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County. Pallbearers will be Dennis Shepard, Gene Barnes, Fred Barnes, Victor Jonesguard, Daniel Jonesguard and Wayne Jonesguard. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Barnes, Phillip Ricks, Rocky Weldon, Robert Weldon, Marty Dismuke, Stacy Willingham, Michael Willingham, David Lodgson and Kenny Harris. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17, 2007, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Montgomery was born on August 13, 1940 in Berrien County and was the daughter of Clyde Miles and Rachel Barnes Miles, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Montgomery. She was a homemaker and a member of Barnes Chapel in Berrien County. She had lived in Ty Ty for 14 years.
Ms. Montgomery is survived by a special friend, Betty Massey of Ty Ty; two daughters, Donna Thomas of Enigma and Cindy Cleghorn of Ashburn; one step-daughter, Brenda Snow of Ty Ty; one step-son, Victor Jonesgard of Ty Ty; one sister, Joyce Thomas of Tifton; 11 grandchildren, including a special graddaughter, Faith Snow of Ty Ty; and 13 great grandchildren.
