WORCESTER___Margaret A. (Yuknavich) Libby, 99, formerly of 25 Canton Street, died November 8, 2007 in the Odd Fellows Home. Her husband, Clarence S. Libby died in 1972.
She is survived by a loving sister, Agnes Plotczyk of Worcester; a loving brother, Clement Young of San Diego, CA., and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by four brothers, Alfred Yuknavich, Joseph Yuknavich, Francis Yorke and John Young. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Peter and Agnes (Lietuwnikas) Yuknavich.
Mrs. Libby was a graduate of Commerce High School and the Ward School of Business. She was a bookkeeper for Narcus Brothers, Inc., and then for Bay State Tobacco Co. She retired many years ago. Margaret was a member of Our Lady of Vilna Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting.
The funeral will be held on Saturday November 17 from HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Saturday November 17 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
