Florence A. Bradbury, 95, of Manchester and Leesburg, FL died November 12, 2007 at The Village Hospice House at Lake and Sumter, Lady Lake, FL after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on August 13, 1912, she was the fourth of thirteen children born to George and Emelia (Martel) Sansoucie.
Mrs. Bradbury worked many years at Sibulkin Shoe Company, Arcadian Heel Manufacturing and part time at Bradlees. She enjoyed playing bingo.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Armand Letendre in 1952, and her second husband, Lee Bradbury in 1968.
The family includes three sisters, Dorothy Olivier of Manchester, Mrs. Howard (Corinne) Sechrest of Lady Lake, FL and Mrs. Donald (Cecelia) Van Alstyne of Summerfield, FL; a step son, David Bradbury of Sanbornville.
IN HER LIFE: She is also survived by her caregiver, Joseph Isabelle of Leesburg, FL with whom she spent her winters, and a step grandson, Nathan Bradbury. She was also predeceased by a long time companion, William Isabelle in 1990.
Although she never had any children of her own, the love she showered on her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews has prompted them to exclaim “everyone should have an Aunt Flo”.
A funeral service was held Monday November 19, 2007 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the chapel of St. Augustin Cemetery, So. Beech St., Manchester.
