Brenda Diane Fox, 57, a lifelong resident of Chelsea entered into rest suddenly on November 13, 2007 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital.
Born in Boston on November 18, 1949, the beloved daughter of the late Abel & Rose (Goldman) Fox, Brenda was raised in Chelsea where she also attended school. She was a well-known fixture in Chelsea, both at Fox's Delicatessen in Bellingham Square, which her family owned, as well as being a friend to so many people in the Chelsea community. She will be lovingly remembered for her kindness & gentleness.
Brenda was the loving sister of Janis Steigman of Framingham; dear aunt of Philip Steigman & Amy Jennifer Baron & her husband Jeff; & great-aunt of Sofie Rose Baron.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Adath Israel Cemetery, Grove St. West Roxbury. Rabbi Nochum Cywiak of Cong. Agudos Shalom & Cong. Ahavas Achim Anshe Sfard of Chelsea will officiate. Memorial observance will be held at the home of Janis Steigman, Framingham on Saturday & Sunday.
