Sharon Kay Newman Martinez Sharon Kay Newman Martinez, 54, Clarksville, died Monday, November 12, 2007, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 pm Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Bro. Louie Montoya officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Thursday and from 11 am until the hour of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 10, 1953 in Montgomery County daughter of the late Henry (Bud) Newman and Freddie Mae Sanders Newman. She was a member of the Clarksville First Assembly of God. She is survived by her husband Raymond Martinez, a son Raymond C. (RC) Martinez, Jr, Lavergne, TN; a daughter LaVonda K. Schneringer, Colorado Springs, Co.; brothers, James Tilson and Danny Tilson both of Big Rock, TN; sisters, Vianna Norman, Robbie Finney, Rose Jacobson, and Amy Helmick all of Clarksville; and a sister Ethel Blackwell, East TN; five grandchildren Justin, Tyler, and Peyton Schneringer and Ximen and Phoenix Martinez; and her step-father Robert Tilson of Big Rock, TN. Pallbearers will be Greg Schneringer, Doug Jacobson, Bobby Tilson, Doug Finney, Jr., David Hofmiller, and Ray Henegar.
