MILLBURY-Mary E. (Monahan) Pietro, 94, formerly of Hilltop Drive died Saturday, January 4th in Westboro Healthcare Center. Her husband, Anthony E. Pietro died in 1994. She leaves a son, Richard A. Pietro of Kernersville, NC; 2 daughters, Alice M. Creamer of Sutton and Janet A. Stevens of Westboro; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 2 granddaughters predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Timothy and Mary (Terrill) Monahan and has lived in Millbury the past 20 years. She graduated from St. Peter’s High School and the City Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a L.P.N. at Worcester State Hospital for 11 years retiring in 1963. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
