Reta (Parker) Scopelleti, 60, a resident of N. Weymouth, died Sunday November 11th at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Scopelleti
Reta was born in Boston, daughter of the late Wesley and Dorothy (Spicer) Parker. She grew up in Randolph and was a graduate of Randolph High and she also attended Ward School of Business. Reta worked for Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company in Canton for 40 years as a data entry operator. She was active, at the First Baptist Church of Abington, enjoyed needle point, cooking, arts & crafts and entertaining.
She is survived by her sister Debbie Smith of Weymouth, her nieces Dottie Parker, Stephanie Santana, Melissa Keefe and her nephew Steven Summers, Jr. She was also the sister of the late George Parker.
Her funeral services will be held Friday November 16th at 11:00A.M., in the First Baptist Church of Abington, 219 Adams Street, Abington. Burial will follow in the Central Cemetery, Randolph, MA. Visiting hours will be held in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Inc, Plymouth Street (Rt 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, MA Thursday November 15th 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.
