Madeline E. Hill, 82 of Medford, died Sunday after a long illness in the Glen Ridge Nursing Care, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford for the past 10 years and formerly of Dorchester. She was the daughter of the late Lillian (Cashman) and Patrick J. Foley. Madeline retired in 1996 from Harvard-Pilgrim Health Care in Wellesley as Marketing Director for 10 years. She was the former Founder and President of the Neponset Health Center, a member of the K Senior Club of Dorchester and the Silver Singles of Melrose.
Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Hill. Devoted mother of Robert M. Hill of Bow, NH, Kathleen A. Darwin of Lawrence, Arlene M. Pulli and her husband Jack of Brookline, Nancy L. Hill of Palmdale, CA, Theresa M. Morrissey and her husband Edward of Medford, Susan E. King of Quincy, James E. Hill and his wife Kimberly of Chelmsford. Also survived by 13 loving grandchildren and 9 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Lillian Carr of Melrose, Eileen Leary of Abington, Edward Foley of Jupiter, FL, Paul Foley of Dedham, and the late William and Robert Foley.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9. Services will conclude with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
