Belmont-Nancy Lee (Miller) Dress of Heritage Terrace died Sunday morning, November 11, 2007 at Lakes Region General Hospital.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 7, 1932, Nancy was the daughter of the late Earl Miller and Fannie (Saltzman) Stanowski. She was also the sister of the late Walter Miller.
Nancy spent the early part of her life in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Malden, Massachusetts when she married the late Morris Shapiro. The later part of her life she lived in Medford, Massachusetts, and Belmont, New Hampshire.
She worked as a bookkeeper and collections agent for various companies throughout her career. She was also an amateur artist, and once attended the Art Institute of Chicago.
Nancy is survived by her three children; Sondra Shapiro of Westborough, Massachusetts, Bruce Shapiro of Medford, Massachusetts, and Susan Lawrence of Sanbornton, New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Gil and Tyler Lawrence both of Sanbornton, New Hampshire.
At Nancy's request, services and burial in South Road Cemetery, Belmont are private.
