Obituary

North Andover, Ma. – Warren “Bud” Blinn, 87, died Saturday November 10, 2007 at Prescott House in North Andover surrounded by his loving family.



Bud was a brakeman and conductor for the Boston and Maine Railroad for over 36 years before retiring. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Train Men. He then worked for years as a bartender at Harris’ Pelham Inn. Bud, a lifelong resident of Methuen, loved being outside, working around the yard, joking and talking with family and friends.



He is the widower of Eunice M. (Delaney) Blinn, his wife for more than 59 years. He leaves behind his daughter, Barbara A. Blinn of Franklin, NH, his son Richard and his daughter-in law Judith of Windham, NH, his son Thomas and wife Kathy, his three grandsons, Kevin, David, and Rory, his two granddaughters, Meghan and Rebecca, and his four great grand children, Korissa, Mackenzie, Nathan, and Danielle. A brother, Jack Blinn and a sister, Hazel Riley of Michigan, a brother, Robert Blinn and his wife Ronnie from Hampstead, NH, and several nieces and nephews also survive him.



At Bud’s request, a private graveside service will take place at the convenience of his family.



Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen, MA.
