Robert Malcolm Peach Robert Malcolm Peach, 79, Clarksville, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 pm Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click, Maryville, TN with Rev. Samuel Boone officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Maryville,TN.. Visitation will be from 5pm till 8pm Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home in Clarksville and from 6pm till 8pm Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in Maryville. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, Sept. 29, 1928. He was the son of Robert Murphy Peach and Ella Geraldine Ebert Peach. He was a retired Colonel in the US Army Corps of Engineers with 26 years service.He was baptized in the Methodist Church. He was member of Military Officer's Assoc, life member of American Sec. of Civil Engr., TAU BETA PI,OMICRON DELTA KAPPA,PHI KAPPA PHI . He received his regular US Army commission after graduating from The University of Tennessee in 1951. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He received 2 Bronze Stars, one with Valor. He is survived by his wife Mary Evelyn Boone Peach of Clarksville, two sons, Robert M. Peach, Jr.(Ann Darke) of Stevensville, MT.and William Andrew Peach(Carrie Mae) of Hopkinsville, KY, one daughter Judith Elaine Peach(Norman F. Lantz) of Los Angeles, CA, three grandchildren, Carly Ann Peach of Bellingham,WA, David Murphy Peach of Butte, MT, and Bella Catherine Peach of Hopkinsville, KY. Pallberers will be Robert Peach,Jr., William Peach, Norman F. Lantz, Eddie Cannon, Jerry Whitehead and Steve Boone. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Blount County Children's Advocacy Center, 212 Cates Street Maryville, TN. 37801.
