Obituary

In Bedford, November 9,2007 Charles C. Morlock died after a brief illness at the age of 96. He leaves his wife Mary(McGann) Morlock. Born in Taunton a life long resident. Son of the late Albert & Margaret ( Buckley) Morlock. Educated in schools in Taunton. Charles was a WW II Navy Veteran and served 20 years and retired as a Chief petty officer. Charles retired as a housing inspector for the City of Taunton. He was a member of the Masons an avid fisherman & loved horse racing & traveling. Besides his wife he is survived by his two children Norma Ellen Cosby & her husband Jake of San Bernadino, CA. and Charlene Leitao & her husband Manuel of Wayland, MA. His siblings George Morlock of Northboro, Theresa Smith of Dennis and predeased by ten other siblings. He was the Grandfather of Robin Steir of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Valerie Klimezak of Diamond Bar, CA., Mark Cosby of Anderson, S. Carolina, Jennifer Jackson of Sudbury, MA., Matthew Leitao of Annapolis, Maryland and seven great Grandchildren and three great great. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton on Tues. November 13th Visiting hours are from 9:30-10:30am. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul’s Church in Taunton at 11am. Interment in the Bourne National Cemetery at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charle’s memory to the Disable American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301 Attn. gift processing.
