Wilfred L. Beaudoin,81, of Sandy Brook Road, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 in his home in Glocester. He was self-employed for 8 years, a machinist for Industrial Machine Corp. and Brown & Sharpe for a total of 31 years, before retiring. He was the husband of Teresa M. (Beausejour) Beaudoin. They were married for 59 years.
Born in Worcester, a son of the late Henry J. and Mary Rose (Dandeneault) Beaudoin. He had been a resident of Smithfield for 47 years and Glocester for 34 years.He was a member of St. Philip Church Choir and served in the Army during WWII and also was a member of the Navy Reserves.
Besides his wife he is also survived by his children, Wilfred R. Beaudoin of Cranston, Therese J. Tally, of Foster, Mark R. Beaudoin of Albany, NY, Gene Paul Beaudoin of North Dartmouth, Peter J. Beaudoin of Florida, Michele Frietas of Norton, MA, MaryAnne Blanchette of Hickory, NC, Matthew J. Beaudoin of Santa Monica, CA, Jane F. Pichette of Cranberry TWP, PA, Catherine A. Fisher of Factoryville, PA, Christopher S. Beaudoin of Burrillville, RI, 23 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Henry A. and Therese Beaudoin.
His funeral is Tuesday at 8:30 am from the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville.Burial with military honors in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-7 pm.
