Obituary

Matatall, Jeanne (Ford), of Kingston formerly of Weymouth, 71, on November 7th at home. Survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, James Matatall of Kingston, mother of Cynthia Matatall of Kingston, Lynne Fowler of VT, Michelle Brown of Plymouth, Deborah Sylvia of Kingston, Pamela Tosi of Plymouth and Renee Besegai of Plymouth. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and her sister Paula Ford of ME. Daughter of the George Lane and Virginia Ford, step-daughter of the late Paul Ford. Sister of the late Alma Ford. Mrs. Matatall was very active in the community, a girl scout leader, girls softball, a member of the Reed Community House Committee. As a girl scout leader, she and her scouts raised money for a compressor for the fire department. Later she joined the Kinsgston Jaycees as the only woman member and helped to raise money for a jaws of life for the fire department. A funeral service will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Tuesday November 13th at 11:30 am followed by burial at the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday November 12th from 3 to 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.
