Bonnie Blanch Wolfe, age 80, of Olive Branch, MS died Monday, November 5, 2007 at her residence in Olive Branch, MS. The daughter of the late Jesse James and Viliot McGee Mixon, she was born in Yalobusha County. She was a homemaker and a member of Jumper’s Chapel Methodist Church in Yalobusha County, MS.
The visitation will be held Friday, November 9, 2007 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in Henry Chapel with Rev. Gene Caldwell presiding. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Jerry Mixon, Mike Mixon, Johnny Ford, Bob Ford, Gene Caldwell, Jr., and Chris White serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her daughter, Barbara Steffel of Olive Branch, MS; a sister, Rita Caldwell of Cookeville, TN; three brothers, Hugh Mixon of Pope, MS, Ted Mixon of Crowder, MS, and Charles Mixon of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Corey Steffel, and Carie Steffel, and a great granddaughter, Cassidy Steffel.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by her husband, Nigal “Gene” Wolfe; two sisters, Betty Jane Ford and Bessie Upchurch; and two brothers, Jimmie Mixon and Shelby Mixon.
