Rose (Barboza) Michael, 92, formerly of Somerset. Widow of Manuel Michael. Daughter of the late Manuel C. & Marcolina (Silva) Barboza. Passed away in New Bedford 11/5/2007. Born in Fall River. She was a member of St. John of God Church. Before retiring in 1977, she was a seamstress in Warren & Fall River.
She is survived by children: Paul A. Michael of Huntsville, Alabama & Donna S. Michael of Lowell, MA. brother: Henry Barboza of Providence. 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. Sister of the late John, Antone, Joseph, Arthur, Manuel, Louis & Cecelia Barboza & Mary Oliveira. Sister-in-law of John Miguel & Mary (Botelho) Barboza.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Saturday at 7:30 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. John of God Church at 9 A.M. Interment: Notre Dame Cemetery.
