Rosemary A. Freda, died at the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, after a lengthy illness. The wife of Richard H. Freda, she was seventy-three years old.
Born in Arlington, she was the daughter of the late Edith (Castaldini) and Michael Troiano. Rosemary has been a resident of Medford for over fifty years, up untill recently she was still working in the family business, Mass Importing Company. Rosemary devoted herself to her family and in recent years greatly enjoyed her grandchildren. She was dedicated to her faith and would attend daily mass. Those who knew Rosemary, know how caring, loving and warm a person she was.
Surviving in addition to her husband Dick, are two daughters Suzanne Vadala, and Jeannie Shine and her husband Billy, one son Rick Freda and his wife Maria all of Medford, ten loving grandchildren, Erik, Richard, Nickie, Mikey, Tommy, Marianne, Anthony, Willy, Jenn and Laura. She was predeceased by her late parents and two brothers, Nick and Mike Troiano.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford on Wednesday, January 8, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church 118 High St. Medford at 11. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
