SALEM, NH – Rose A. (Carbal) Cardoza age 83 died Monday November 5, 2007 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH.
Born and educated in Lawrence, she worked for more than 18 years as a stitcher with Grieco Bros. She belonged to the Portuguese American Club, was vice president of the Portuguese Ladies Council, and enjoyed cooking, playing cards and bingo, family birthday parties and spending time especially with her grandchildren.
She leaves her husband of 50 years Charles M. Cardoza of Salem, NH.
2 daughters Charlene M. Lemieux and her husband Richard of Methuen and Janice R. Doucette and her husband Edward of Lawrence.
2 sons Martin P. and his wife Brenda Cardoza of Lawrence and Charles M. and his wife Linda Cardoza of Merrimac, MA.
9 grandchildren Susan, David, Joseph, Michael, Laurie, Cheryl, Melissa, Kristy and Scott.
8 great-grandchildren David, Brandon, Jacob, Cameron, Jenna, Timothy, Justin and Nicole.
She also leaves several neices and nephews and great-neices and great-nephews.
Rose was also the mother of the late Kenneth W. Costa.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church in Windham, NH. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
