Margaret M. Hogarty, a retired school teacher and longtime resident of Needham died on Saturday November 3rd at the Beth Israel Deaconess hospital in Needham. She was 83 years old. Born in Boston, Miss Hogarty was a graduate of Regis College. She started her teaching career with the Boston Public Schools. From Boston, Miss Hogarty then taught in Wrentham and eventually ended up teaching in the Waltham Public School from which she retired. Miss Hogarty had been a resident of Needham, for over 40 years. The dear daughter of the late John M. and Mary R. (Shepard) Hogarty, she leavers her cousin of Paul Shepard of Cohasset. Her funeral will be from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Thursday November 8 at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:15 only. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
