J. Kenneth Barletta, of Dedham, died November 3, 2007. He was 58. He was the beloved husband of Patricia L. (Keliher) Barletta.
Born in Boston, the son of the late Carmen and Irene (Beatrice) Barletta, he graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, class of 1967. He also attended Fairfield University.
Mr. Barletta was the CEO of Barletta Group, Inc., a real estate development company in Norwood. He was the former Treasurer of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Yankee Chapter. A longtime Dedham resident, he was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary’s Church and was a member of the Board of Trustees at Xaverian Brothers High School.
He was the devoted father of Christopher M. Barletta and his wife Destiny of Watertown and Amy N. Barletta of Brighton. He was the brother of Linda Barletta of Norwood and Robert A. Barletta and his wife Suzanne of Foxboro and Step son of Carole Barletta of Walpole.
His funeral will be held from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Friday at 9:00 AM with a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
