Obituary

Joseph DiBiase, of Newton retired owner of Collins Market in Wayland, died on Sun Nov. 4, 20078 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was 94.
Born in Gaeta Italy, he had lived in Newton for over 50 years. During WW II he served with the U.S. Army Co. C 873rd Engineer Aviation Battalion in the Asiatic Pacific theatre. He had owned Collins Market from 1959 until his retirement in 1986.
Son of the late Giacomo and Assunta DiBiase he is survived by his brothers Frank of Italy, C. Raymond of Belmont, Mario of Arlington and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late A. Frederick DiBiase.
Relatives and friends will gather at the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner on Wed Nov 7 at 9:30 AM and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10:30 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Veterans Lot at Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Tues from 4-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lahey Clinic 51 Mall Rd Burlington, MA 01803.
