Charlie C. Clements, 74, of Mystic, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with Rev. Jay Johnson and Rev. Glen Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in Brushy Creek Cemetery, Irwin County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Monday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Clements was born August 3, 1933 in Irwin County, Georgia to the late Archie B. and Maggie Garrett Clements. He had lived in the community most of his life. He was a retired lineman for The Pike Company. Mr. Clements was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War Era.
Mr. Clements is survived by his wife of 47 years: Shirley Kato Clements of Mystic; one son: Randy Clements of Germany; three daughters and a son-in-law: Carmen C. Knox of Ocilla, Tammy C. and Dale Wilson of Irwin County, and Lisa Clements of Irwin County; six grandchildren; one brother: Emory Clements of Colorado Springs, CO; and one sister: Mildred West of Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by three sisters and seven brothers.
