Obituary



Ora R. (Gaudin) Dugay 94 years of Brockton died Saturday November 3 at St. Joseph Manor after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Wilfred J. Dugay. She was born in Rumford, Maine a daughter of the late William and Mary (O’Sullivan) Gaudin and had been a resident of Brockton since 1964. When living in Maine she had been employed by the Oxford Paper Mill in Rumford. Ora was devoted to her home and family.
Mrs. Dugay was a charter member of the AARP in Brockton and their tour coordinator. She had also bowled at Maple Alleys with the PM Bowlers. She had been a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church
She was the mother of Leo Dugay and Sandra Dugay both of Brockton, Dennis Dugay of Virginia Beach, VA, Phyllis York of E. Taunton and the late William Dugay. She leaves 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rev. Rene Gaudin, SSCC, Alphonse, Emile, Francis, Leo and Albert Gaudin.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 pm. Donations in Ora’s name may be made to Old Colony Hospice One Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
