LEICESTER-Rachel A. (Braconnier) Schwartz, 87, formerly of 1073 Main Street died Friday, January 3rd in radius Healthcare of Worcester. Her husband, Emanuel S. Schwartz died in 1989. She leaves 2 sons, David E. Schwartz of Worcester and Martin S. Schwartz of Leicester; 3 daughters, Lucille A. Siauris of Auburn, Christine M. Pellegrino of Spencer and Janice R. Ciepielowski of Whitinsville; a sister, Irene Butcher of East Brookfield; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Spencer the daughter of Antoine and Rose (LaFrennier) Braconnier and lived most of her life in Leicester. She was a member of St. Pius X Church and the Leicester Senior Citizens Club.
The funeral will be Tuesday, January 7th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1154 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Monday January 6th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Visiting Nurses Association, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
