Obituary

WILMINGTON: Florence I. (Cormier)(Gaudette) Burbine, age 79, a resident of Wilmington for 30 years, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Woodbriar of Wilmington.
She was the wife of James D. Burbine and the late Nelson Gaudette, who died in 1970.
Born in Chelsea, MA on January 14, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Aurele and Lena (Allen) Cormier.
Mrs. Burbine was raised in Adamsville, New Brunswick, Canada and attended local schools.
She resided in Malden until moving to Wilmington in 1977.
According to her family, she enjoyed traveling to Canada to visit her relatives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Daniel E.J. Gaudette and his wife Anna of Tewksbury; one granddaughter, Leana Gaudette of Tewksbury; one sister, Alice Dockrill of Ontario, Canada; two brothers, Alfred Cormier of Montreal, Canada and Raymond Cormier of Moncton, Canada; also many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Burbine was the sister of the late Dora Belliveau, Daniel and Gerald Cormier.
Calling hours Sunday, November 4th, from 3-7 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Monday, November 5th, at 9:30 a.m., from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
