Janice L. (Baty) Livesey, 62, of Dartmouth died November 2, 2007 at New Bedford Rehabilitation Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Gerald R. Livesey.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Rita C. (Joubert) Baty of New Bedford and the late Samuel Baty, Jr., she lived in Dartmouth most of her life.
Mrs. Livesey was employed as a sales clerk in various country stores.
She was an avid shopper.
Survivors include her mother; a son, Scott A. Livesey, and his wife Patricia, of Dartmouth; a daughter, Kerri L. Mason, and her husband Carl, of Dartmouth; five grandchildren, Samantha Mason, Michael Mason, Nicholas Livesey, Jacob Livesey and Brendan Livesey; and several cousins.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6th at 10 AM in St. George's Church, Westport. Visiting hours Monday, November 5th from 6-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
