Marjorie Lucy Frankel, 72, a resident of Brookline, formerly of FL & Winthrop, entered into rest on October 31, 2007 at the Coolidge House.
Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Julius & Norma (Score) Steinmetz, Marjorie was raised & educated in Winthrop where she graduated from Winthrop High School. She worked for a number of years as a clerk in the insurance industry. After marriage, Marjorie lived in FL for many years, returning to the Boston area in the 1990's.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Willett & granddaughters, Kelsey Josephine & Norma Rae all of FL. She was the beloved sister of Dorothy Sokol & her husband Eddie of Chelsea & Milton Steinmetz of the Chelsea Soldiers Home. Marjorie is also survived by 3 nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 12:45 PM in the B'Nai Israel of Beachmont Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett. Memorial observance will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home Foundation, 17 Lafayette Ave. Chelsea, MA 02150. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Torf Funeral Chapel.
