Obituary

Worcester – Elmer E. St. Laurent Sr., 91, of Worcester died on Tuesday, October 30 in Radius Healthcare Center of Worcester after an illness.

He leaves his son Elmer E. St. Laurent Jr. of Orange, MA. Mr. St. Laurent was born in Worcester son of Octave and Eva (Roy) St. Laurent and lived here all of his life. He is predeceased by his wife Nerina R. (DiBenedetto) St. Laurent; a daughter Mary Pollard; a sister Mabel Cole; two brothers Herbert St. Laurent and Everett St. Laurent.

He worked as a machinist for the Wright Machine Co. retiring in 1981. He is a veteran of the United States Navy and served during World War II where he was awarded two Purple Hearts. Mr. St. Laurent was a member of the VFW Southworks Post 3657 and Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 3 at 10 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 600 Cambridge St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
