Obituary

LOWELL - Sophie Helen Frediani, 91, a longtime resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Tuesday October 30th at Saints Medical Center in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Camille Frediani who died in 1982.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 22, 1916, and was a daughter of the late Felix and Catherine (Nowak) Faber.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Frediani was employed as an assembler for many years by the former William J. Graham Company in Lowell.

In her free time she enjoyed ballroom dancing.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Camille "Butch" and Mary "Mae" Frediani of Lowell; two grandchildren Jason C. Frediani and his wife Suzanne and Amy L. Frediani, all of Lowell; two great grandchildren Jack and Max Frediani, both of Lowell; two nieces Catherine Ziemba of Dracut and Patricia Wrobel of N. Tewksbury; a nephew Ted Faber Jr. of Tyngsboro; two brothers-in-law Barney Frediani of Dracut, and Charles "Bud" Frediani and his wife Jean of Pepperell; and many great nieces, and great nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Adam Faber, Teddy Faber, and Stella Abernathy.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Friday from 4 until 8PM. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Saturday at 9AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10AM at St. Michael Church in Lowell. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lowell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Owl Diner Charities, PO BOX 2182, Highland Station, Lowell, MA 01851.
