Daniel Paterson, 88, of Snake Hill Road, died Monday, October 29, 2007 at home. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Kelly) Paterson. They had been married for 60 years.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, a son of the James and Barbara (Steele) Paterson. He had been a resident of Glocester since 1948.
Mr. Paterson was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Force.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Craig D. Paterson of Chimacum, WA, three daughters Joyce Paterson and Lois May, both of North Kingstown and Melanie Gallucci of Coventry, nine grandchildren, two great grandsons and a sister Edna Blanchette.
A committal service with military honors will be held Friday at 12 noon in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation respectfully omitted. Donations in his memory may be made to Graniteville WWII Memorial, 75 Pine Hill Road, Johnston, RI 02919.
