Thomas Teddy Smith, 43, of Gadsden, Alabama, formerly of Omega, died Monday, October 29, 2007, at his residence in Gadsden, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joe Crumley and Rev. Zak Kea will officiate with burial to follow in Omega Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Smith, Bobby Billings, Donald "Duck" Smith, Billy Hancock, Alton Benefield and Scott Spires. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Nance, Roy Watson, Scotty Hogan and John Fletcher. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Smith was born on January 13, 1964 in Tift County and was the son of Thomas T. Smith of Omega and Joann Fendley Smith Dube of Abbeville. He was disabled and a member of Omega Church of God.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Angie Davis of Gadsden, Alabama; one son, Tarran Smith of Alabama; one daughter, Breanna Smith of Tifton; one sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Richard Bromlow of Omega; and one nephew, Cory Bromlow.
