SALEM - Marie E. (LaPierre) Wilinski, 95, wife of the late Alexander G. Wilinski, formerly of Salem, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in California, following a short illness.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Eleonore (Martin) LaPierre. A resident of Salem for many years, she was a parishioner of the St. Thomas The Apostle Church.
Eva as she was best know to her local friends and family, loved to travel. She had the pleasure of living in Arizona, Atlanta, Georgia, Concord, Mass, Laguna Niguel, CA, Ridgefield and Southport, CT. and the state of New Jersey. During her last 4 years she enjoyed the warm weather in Northern California.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Eaton’s Drug Stores in Salem & Beverly where she was a cosmetician and gift buyer.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Christine & Donald Southard of Los Gatos, CA, and with whom she resided, one son & daughter-in-law, Donald & Sylvia Wilinski of Marblehead, 2 grandchildren, Chad Southard of Santa Monica, CA, Regan Southard of Manhattan, NY, one sister, Rita Begin of Palm Harbor, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2007, at 10:30 am at the family lot in St. Mary Cemetery, North St., Salem. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
