North Andover, Massachusetts – Paul J. Sutton, Ret. Lawrence Police officer died Monday October 22, 2007 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Andover son of the late William and Margaret (Salmon) Sutton Officer Sutton was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, and received an associates degree in criminal justice.
For 40 years he was a police officer with the Lawrence Police Department and a member of the Massachusetts Policemen’s Association.
Paul served his country in the United States Army before receiving an onorable discharge and awarded the Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Sutton was a member of the Lawrence Lodge of Elks # 65 B.P.O.E.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Jeanette “Jay” Sutton and three children, Kelly K. and husband David Doyle of Methuen, Kenneth J. & wife Lori Giaquinta of North Andover, and Gerald and wife Amy Giaquinta of Napa Valley, California, grandsons: Jeremy, Kyle, Ryan, Jason Giaquinta and Scott Doyle.
A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday morning October 30, 2007 at 10 o’clock in Saint Michaels Church in North Andover with burial to follow in Ridgewood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 2:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street Methuen.
