John R. Wheeler, 74, of Green Harbor, October 20, 2007 at home. Born in Boston January 11, 1933. Son of the late Clarence and Helen Wheeler. He attended Peabody High School and Tabor Academy before serving in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1952-1955 during the Korean War. Mr. Wheeler was a local lobsterman. He was an active member of the Massachusetts Lobsterman's Association and a member of American Legion. An active member of the Marshfield Veteran's Association. Husband of the late Mary Joan (Ballentine) who died March 9, 1994. Survived by a son John W. Wheeler and his wife Connie of Marshfield, two daughters Robin Payne of FL and her late husband Steven and Nancy Hambleton and her husband Jeff of KS, a brother Richard Wheeler and his wife Sandra, 3 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and late brother Robert Wheeler.
