Antone M. “Tony” Rocha, 77, a resident of Medway since 1964, died, Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Boston Medical Center. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Donovan) Rocha for 43 years.
Born in New Bedford on May 4, 1930, he was a son of the late Manuel M. and Deolinda (Cabral) Rocha.
Mr. Rocha was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Retiring in 1992, Mr. Rocha worked in the maintenance department at Medfield State Hospital for 30 years.
He was an avid sports fan.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael Rocha of Massachusetts, Jeanne Spencer of Franklin and James Rocha of Millis, a brother, Manuel Rocha of Stockton, California and a sister, Delvina Freitas of New Bedford.
He is also survived by two grandsons, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was a brother of the late Joseph Rocha and Mary Haggett.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Tuesday, October 30 at 11 a.m. in the Ginley – Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 - 8 p.m.
