Obituary

WORCESTER-Vera E. (Dadah) Howarth, 84, of June Street died Sunday, October 21st at home. Her husband, William M. Howarth died in 1972. She leaves 3 sons, William J. Howarth of Alta Loma, CA, John J. Howarth of Exeter, NH and Thomas M. Howarth of Cranston, RI; a daughter, Patricia M. Sargent of Woonsocket, RI; a brother, Francis Dadah of Deerfield, FL; 3 sisters, Lena Pike of Carrollwood, FL, Elizabeth Reardon of Franklinton, NC and Eleanor Edenfield of Palmeadow, FL; 10 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A daughter, Ann M. O’Rourke and 4 brothers, Paul, John, Nelson, and Russell Dadah predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Tatro) Dadah. Mrs. Howarth graduated from Commerce High School and was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Church. She worked as a seamstress for many years.

The funeral is Friday, October 26th with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will be in Saint John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street, Worcester, MA 01602. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
