Michael F. Cartolano, of Medford, died Wednesday at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He was 52.
Mr. Cartolano was born in Boston’s West End. A Medford resident for most of his life, he served in the Navy after high school on the USS Belknap. Upon his return from the service Michael worked with his family operating their ticket brokerage.
He was the beloved son of Michael Cartolano and the late Margaret “Margie” (McCormack) Cartolano. He was a devoted brother to Rosario Cartolano of Medford, Joseph Cartolano and his wife Karen of Andover, Anthony Cartolano and his wife Nella of Medford. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends may visit Friday from 3 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Procession from the funeral home on Saturday at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clement Church at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
